Sue Ann Kinney Henry, born to Melvin Kinney and Louella Garner Kinney in Ralls,
Texas on October 15, 1934, went to be with the Lord on May 15, 2023.
She was survived by her husband, Jim Henry; her daughter, Sandra Jenkins and
husband, John; and her son, Steve McCune and his wife, Julie; all of Amarillo, Texas.
She was also survived by three grandchildren, Amy Hand of Canyon, Texas; Roxanne
Myers of Amarillo, Texas and Sara McCune of Coldwater, Michigan; seven great
grandchildren, Hunter Hall, Hadleigh Hall, Haylen Hall, Dakota Myers, Bri’Anna Myers,
Bentley Cogdill and Kenna Codgill; two great, great grandchildren, Crew Hall and Max
Hall and a niece, LeighAnn Burn and nephews, Gene Wooldridge, Ricky Kinney and
Mike Kinney.
Her sisters, Faye Wooldridge of Amarillo, Texas and Laura Hooker of Friendswood,
Texas, also survive “Susie”. A brother, Marvin Kinney predeceased her May 23, 2008.
Sue loved art, music and especially loved Christmas. She was also very proud of the
fact that her son, Steve, is a preacher.
Graveside services, officiated by Pastor Burton McIlroy, will be held Wednesday, May
17, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Dreamland Cemetery, 26500 S. U. S. 87, Canyon, Texas.
Family and friends visitation will be held Wednesday, May 17, 2023; 12:30 to 1:30 PM.at Holley
Funeral Home, 205 North 11th Street, Canyon, Texas.
