If Roses grow in Heaven,
Lord please pick a bunch for me,
Place them in my Mothers arms
and tell her they're from Me.
Tell her I love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for a while.
Because remembering her is easy,
I do it every day,
but there's an ache within my heart
that will never go away.
Priscilla (Sue) Bell Coghill, 84, Canyon, TX, formerly of Roswell, NM left this earth March 29, 2023. Sue was born March 21, 1939, to Romie James Young and Ida Bell Young. She was one of 13 children.
She is survived by her brother, Clayton Young of Marion Ohio; her 6 children, 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, her beloved cat Cali and special friends Richard and Kay.
Sue passionately loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her friends and loved ones. She was admired and respected for her strength, tenacity and quirky sense of humor. She loved to make people laugh. Her laugh was contageous and she never met a stranger. Her children would describe her as one of the most feisty, stubborn and strong-willed people on the planet. When she set out to accomplish something you can believe it would happen! She is finally at peace now but will never be forgotten by those who knew and loved her. We have huge hole in our hearts but take comfort knowing she is in the arms of our father in heaven where she will continue to be the life of the party!
