Obituary
Patrick Kevin Howell of Canyon, Texas, died July 17, 2023 at home. Patrick was born October 6, 1960 in Robstown, Texas, to G. Michael and Jean (White) Howell. He graduated from Plainview High School and later attended Texas A&M University, Blinn College and West Texas State University. While living in Canyon, he was set up on a blind date with his future wife, Amy Knadle Howell. They married June 25, 1988. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Hugh H. and Bernice Howell, R.D. and Ethel White, and his mother, Jean Howell. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, their children, Matthew Ryan and wife Kylie and their son Benjamin, Zachary Colin and Jillian Grace Howell. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church’s Praise Team, which brought him great joy. A memorial service will be held Friday, July 21, 2023 at 2:00 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 6900 Hillside Road, Amarillo, Texas, 79109.
