Patricia Ann “Pat” Feakes, passed away peacefully in Amarillo, Texas on January 30th, 2021 at the age of 78.
Pat is survived by her children, Steve Parker of Dawn, Texas and Sabra Parker Rector of Bushland, Texas. Additionally, she is survived by her grandchildren, Kenly and husband William Wimberley, Rachel and husband Laramy Friemel, Colin Hill, and Kyle Hill. Furthermore, she is survived by four great grandchildren; Warren, Ben, Laiken, and Cole.
Pat was born in Sapulpa, Oklahoma and moved to Lubbock where she attended Lubbock High. After graduating high school she met and married Jerry Parker in 1961. They resided in the Wayside, Kim CO., and the Dawn, TX area where she had her two children.
She met her second husband Joe Scruggs and they lived in Oklahoma City and Houston. She enjoyed gardening, her dogs, and was active in her community. She was widowed after 35 years of marriage.
Pat married Lloyd Feakes of Bellville Texas in 2005. They enjoyed traveling the country visiting their children and grandchildren in their RV. While in Bellville, she was very active with the Pink Ladies Cancer support group.
To her grandchildren, she was a beloved “Grammy,” who would never end a phone call or interaction without saying, “I love you.” She was a devoted mother to two successful children who carry on her love of God, Family and Country. Pat was able to live her life as a role model to those who looked up to her and she will be dearly missed.
A memorial is scheduled for Saturday, February 6th, 2021 at 11:00 AM. The memorial will be held at the Palo Duro Cowboy Church, located at 12498 US-60 W; Canyon, TX. For those who are unable to travel, the memorial service will be streamed on Facebook live. The video will be available for those who wish to attend virtually on Steve Parker’s Facebook page at the time of the event.
