Obituary

Olga I Wiggins "Duffy" 97 of Amarillo, TX passed away on Wednesday 1-26-2022.  A memorial service is scheduled for Monday 1-31-2022 at 1:00 pm in Paramount Baptist Church with the reverend Lance Herrington officiating.  

Olga was born on March 30,1924,in Youngstown, Ohio to Mary and Andrew Zofie.   Duffy married Harris Kent Wiggins on June 15, 1946. They lived in Amarillo, TX, Turpin, OK, Tucumcari, NM, and Abilene, TX before retiring to Amarillo. She was a member of Paramount Baptist Church in various offices of her Joy Sunday School Class. She assisted in the program for LEAF (learning English among friends).  She was a member of Senior Citizens, Participating with the Swinging Seniors line dancing group; promoting many quilt sales to benefit the Senior Center and a member of several Square dancing clubs.  She served in the WAVES branch of the US Navy from 1944-1946.  She was preceded in death by her Husband of almost 50 years and by 3 brothers and 4 sisters.

She is survived by 2 sons - Ron Wiggins of Albuquerque, NM and Don Wiggins and wife Kelly of Knoxville, TX.  2 daughters -Sandra Bonesteel and husband Dan of Brunswick, MD and Janice Allred and husband Roddy, Sr of Wildorado, TX.  6 grandchildren: Wendy Jackson and husband Shane of Wildorado; Cindy Schulte and husband Royce of Amarillo; Roddy Allred and wife Zane of Wildorado; Judy Stewart; Jenny Langford and husband Kevin of Liberty Hill, TX; Terri Rhoades od Brunswick, MD.  8 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandson.
