Michelle Flowers, 51, of Amarillo, TX passed away peacefully on February 26, 2023. Michelle grew up in Muleshoe, Tx. She moved to Amarillo where she grew her family and enjoyed many careers.
We will celebrate her life on Wednesday, March 1, at Holley Funeral Home, Canyon, TX; with a Vigil at 6:00 pm and a Rosary to follow. The Funeral Mass, with Father Scott presiding, will be on Thursday, March 2 at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Canyon, TX.; at 10:00am. Graveside services will follow at Dreamland Cemetery, Canyon, TX.
Michelle wanted her funeral to be a happy time and asked for attendees to wear colorful attire.
In 2018, Michelle was diagnosed with ALS. She was determined to fight and enjoy many years with her family and friends. She succeeded in doing so by creating lasting memories with her loved ones. Some of her favorite activities included, eating Crumbl Cookies in bed with her grandkids by her side, completing art projects with her entire family and DIY house projects, that always turned out exactly as planned. Even though Michelle's diagnosis took her ability to walk many years ago, she considered everyday a blessing to spend more time her family and friends. Michelle's grace and dignity through her life will leave a permanent impression on everyone else's lives.
Michelle was preceded in death by Trinidad Lopez, maternal Grandfather; Trinidad Lopez Jr., maternal Uncle; Margarito Gutierrez, paternal Grandfather, Adelina Gutierrez, paternal Grandmother and Pelon Ortega, paternal Uncle.
Michelle is survived by her parents, Joe and Anna Gutierrez; sisters: JoAnn and Latricia; Children: Ashley, Carli, Micah, JonCarlo, Cade, Madden and MiLee. Children in love: Logan, Chance and Victoria; Grandchildren: Savannah, Lexxi, Alana, JoJo, Camilla, Ezekiel and Keenan.
