Graveside services will be held on Monday January 4, 2021, at 11:00 AM in Happy Memorial Cemetery, Happy, TX with Corky Holland of First Baptist Church of Amarillo officiating.
JaNet was born on August 13, 1941 in Amarillo, TX to George A. and Modenia Airhart Rahlfs. She was reared in Happy, TX. In 1967, she graduated from Northwest Texas Hospital School of Nursing, and became a nursing instructor while working as an RN at Northwest. Later she worked at High Plains Baptist Hospital and then at the Amarillo VA Hospital. She retired from the VA after working more than 30 years in nursing. JaNet was a member of the First Baptist Church of Amarillo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and in 2012 by her husband Ron Lindsey. She is survived by a son David Chechourka and wife Cherie of Amarillo, a grandson Nathan Chechourka of Amarillo, sister Jean Boyles of Aurora, CO, brother Lloyd Rahlfs, Sr and wife Ann of Happy, TX, and numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Holley Funeral Home in Canyon from 2:00-4:00 PM.
